Multi-plaintiff allocation

Divides a single recovery among several plaintiffs, applying one fee rate and the shared case costs to each share with each plaintiff’s own liens, and produces a combined statement that reconciles to the gross settlement.

Shared terms

Applied to every plaintiff.

Cost allocation

Pro rata divides the shared costs in proportion to each plaintiff’s share of the gross. Even split divides them equally among the plaintiffs. Liens are entered separately for each plaintiff. Enter the original amount of each plaintiff’s liens and the payoff negotiated. Both print on the statement.

Shared case costs

Filing and service fees, experts, records and other costs billed to the case as a whole.

Before you rely on this statement

  • This statement is a calculation aid and is not legal or accounting advice.
  • Confirm each plaintiff’s allocation against the executed settlement agreement and any court-approved apportionment before disbursing funds.
  • The combined net and all deductions must reconcile to the gross settlement. Do not disburse on a statement that does not reconcile.
